Membership Information

When you join NYCAEYC, you will also become a member of NYSAEYC and NAEYC.  You will receive the benefits associated with each.

As a member you may take advantage of our wide array of resources to help improve your work with children. These resources include, but are not limited to, the following:

• the award-winning journal, Young Children;
• discounted prices in our catalog of hundreds of books, videos, brochures, and posters;
• access to the Members Only area of the NAEYC Web site;
• and the world’s largest early education conference.

Comprehensive Members receive all the benefits of Regular Membership described below, plus five or six books a year immediately after their release by NAEYC.

Regular and Student Members receive:

• Six issues of Young Children, packed with the latest developments in early childhood education, practice, and research;
• Voting rights in NAEYC, NYSAEYC and NYCAEYC elections to help shape the future of the early childhood profession;
• Reduced registration fees at NAEYC, NYSAEYC, and NYCAEYC-sponsored conferences and seminars;
• Reduced subscription fees for the highly respected Early Childhood Research Quarterly;
• Opportunities to participate in various insurance plans designed to meet your personal and professional needs, including professional liability insurance—and an Association-sponsored credit card service from MBNA;
• Other benefits offered by NYSAEYC including their newsletter;
• Leadership opportunities on the local, state, and national level to serve on boards, advisory councils, statewide committees, and chapter committees.

Join or Renew your NYCAEYC Membership Online

After clicking the logo link below, follow these steps to join:
(NOTE: If you follow this procedure, you will become a member of NYCAEYC, NYSAEYC, and NAEYC.  You receive the benefits associated with each.)

1. Answer the Membership Pre-Survey.
2. Complete the Membership Application.
3. Select a State: NY.
4. Select an Affiliate: Scroll down to New York City AEYC and check the box to the left.
5. Confirm that New York City AEYC is your affiliate.
6. Select Membership Level.
7. Choose your payment method: Internet Check or Credit Card.
8. Enter Information and Process Order.

Follow these steps to renew your membership:

1. Answer the Membership Pre-Survey.
2. Enter your membership number and password.
3. Click on the Link: Manage your membership account.
4. Follow the prompts and process order.
